The basic concept is simple, and on the surface it may seem that it's been done many times...a CAN-AM type car for the road and track. Raw, focused, prioritizing performance and intensity of experience over convenience and comfort. Something you'd use only occasionally, when everything is right, but then really USE it.
The powerplant is electric, running a 2 Casdadia Motion motors/controllers. All togther the motors produce 900 hp, and with AWD there is no issue putting the power to the ground.
Batteries will be ModBatt modular 800V with 30-60 kWh on-demand configurable packs
Weight will be kept around 1,600-2,200 lbs, depending on drivetrain options, giving it the power-to-weight and overall performance topping that of many modern supercars.
The D8 will be the first to utilize Modbatt's patented Linked Control Token (LCT) technology, controllably linking LCTs with computer-controlled devices like cars and battery modules. Each D8 will have an LCT associated with it. The owner of the LCT will own (and control) the car, and vice versa.
Production will be limited to a total of 8 units. Projected availability is mid to late 2024.
