The GTX uprights use large, easily replaceable bolt-on bearing/hub assemblies, accepting a large CV with 1.38″ spline. They have shim-style camber adjustment (allowing camber changes without affecting toe), 5”x4.5” hub, and the ability to use a raised lower suspension arm for clearance of underbody aero. All together they weigh about 9 lbs/ea with no brakes. Brake packages are available with Wilwood 4-piston Dynapro or 6-piston FSLR calipers, using vented rotors from 11″ to 12.88″ in diameter. The GTX uprights are recommended for cars up to approximately 2,000 lbs and over 600hp per axle using 4g as the load test with 1.5 safety factor. Heavier cars can be accommodated if lower loads are acceptable.
